Annual Antique Auction

Throughout each year, the staff at the Salvation Army’s Thrift Store in Rochester Hills selects items from among the multitude of generously donated goods for the annual auction held on site.  Although the vast majority of donations received are clothing and everyday household goods, in among the ‘typical’ we are delighted to also find those with more significant value.  Items identified as antique, collectible or of special interest are assembled for a once a year opportunity for an audience of shoppers who have a particular appreciation for them to support The Salvation Army through our auction. 

In that ‘Doing the Most Good’ is well known as The Salvation Army’s motto, we believe that our donors choose to give items to this organization with that intention in mind.   Using donations of special value in this way ensures that they are put to the very best use.  Our annual auction is one of the important ways The Salvation Army’s donors take part in the process of generating financial support required to continue providing essential programs at no charge to those in need.
