Long standing in this location, it opened in 1988 with 16,650 sq. ft. Remodeled most recently in 2002, it now features 2 fitting rooms. Located on the busy thoroughfare of 8 Mile Rd., just west of Mound Rd., this site serves the Detroit and Warren communities. Convenient free parking is available in the adjoining parking lot with easy access to the on-site donation center which has attendants on duty daily. It provides employment to 20 people who are assisted regularly by 4 volunteers. Store proceeds and donations support The Salvation Army’s Southeast MI A.R.C.

This is a very neat and clean store with nice items!
I really enjoyed shopping at this Salvation Army store. The people were very friendly and supportive, everyone helped with what ever I needed. The store was well organized and items were easily found. It was clean and I felt at home.
