Comments:
Prices are way too high and sales are usually useless and cashiers not friendly at all.
So I live in WV but am from Detroit. Ever since this store opened my mom and I make a point to schedule a trip in when I come to visit. I find loads of clothes for my son and sometimes a little something for myself. I don\'t know what everyone\'s complaining about. The prices are very reasonable in my opinion and there\'s usually a sale on top of that. I couldn\'t be happier with my purchases.
The 10 for $5 sale sucked today...they did NOT do all the green tags 10 for $5 like it was supposed to be...they had 4 racks at the front of the store that were 10 for $5 and they were only womans dress clothing..nothing else! What a crock! I have not like this store since it opened. They do not have the good sales that the other stores have.
Clothing prices are OK and collectibles are on sale quite often, but the furniture prices are ridiculous. No wonder I see the same furniture everytime I go there.
I ended up walking out of this store today after waiting, while two cashiers decided it was more important to talk to each other than bother to wait on me. i left my stuff on the counter and they didn\'t care...
In the few times I have gone to this location, I have walked out shaking my head in disgust at the prices. Whoever in the processing section that prices should recognize that America is currently in a recession. People are losing jobs left and right. And this store and a few others taking advantage of those who have little for clothing that has been worn by someone else, is an affront. I have always admired what the Salvation Army does, but the prices being put on these donated goods, does make me wonder if the Army cares more about money than anything else.
On another note, the Manager Mary something, seems to be quite snarky, and does not have good people skills. I thought Managers were supposed to be \"Customer Service\" and in a business setting, people persons are the ones who create a want to come back to a store.
I do like the floor though. It does look tremendous on the inside, and the knick-knack displays lately have been phenomenal. The Cashiers for the most part have been very efficient, but sometimes it feels cold, not always the warmest environment, not temperature but relational.
this location is the largest and most overpriced store in the area. they recently had used shoes priced at $99.00! they are probably some kind of expensive label shoes but if someone is looking for expensive shoes there is somerset mall.
Clothes are priced much too high. Can buy new items at Target or Walmart for similar price.
Furniture is rarely on sale.
I was at the store today and found 2 exact same pillows. One had a price and the other did not.
The cashier said she could not sell me the unmarked one. She was very rude about it.
Also, many used items have white tags. Why?
Womens clothing prices are too high
Love this store! Always finding great deals. The store is very clean and organized. The staff at this location is very friendly. My friends and I shop at this store at least a couple times a week and Our favorite cashier is Natasha, she has a great personality and always has a smile on her face! I can see her as management material!
Your prices are high for the quality of the goods being sold and the store manager (that came from the Auburn store) is known all over the other Salvation Army locations for being rude to customers, and I would advise you to get someone who is more people-friendly. I go to most of the Salvation Army stores in the Metro Detroit area. I buy for Easter Seals people and underprivileged people. Could you please replace her?
