Opened in 1982 at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Central in a highly populated urban neighborhood, the 8,500 sq. ft. building has for years provided convenient affordable shopping to residents of the southwest Detroit community. This store is easily accessible by bus or car. Free parking is available at the adjacent parking lot at the rear of the building. Donations are accepted on site. This location provides employment to 8 people who are assisted regularly by 1 volunteer. Store proceeds and donations support The Salvation Army’s Southeast MI A.R.C.
Beginning Saturday, October 1st 2011... This store will be offering all items* for just $1 each. Once the new pricing is in place this location will no longer be part of the 50% Off Sales. This location will continue to provide the same quality of Clothing, Housewares, Shoes and other items as you have come to expect. This location will no longer particiate in the 50% Off Clothing Sales.
