We service all cities in Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw & Wayne Counties.
Schedule: All cities have predetermined pick up days. Because we service multiple counties, we service each city one day every week. Due to the volume of donors, we are unable to provide specific time requests for our pickup service. All pickups will be scheduled Monday-Saturday 8am-7pm and Sundays 1pm-7pm. Please be prepared to schedule at least one week in advance. During peak donation periods, the wait may be longer. Location of Donation: If someone is home - If you require us to enter your home, all items must be on the ground floor. We DO NOT go upstairs or into basements. We will go into your garage if that is where your items are.
If no one is home - All items must be placed outside on the front porch, front of driveway or near the curb under a tarp AND signed for The Salvation Army. We DO NOT enter any part of your property unless someone is home. If you the donor will not be home and will have someone else there in your place; a letter must be given to our driver stating the person in the home has the authority to donate for you. If the items are outside and there is no sign, we will not pick the items up. If you are not present and no letter is given to our driver, will not pick the items up.
Value of Donation: The Salvation Army DOES NOT assign dollar value to any donations. We offer a suggested value here. The amount of your donation is between you and whomever prepares your taxes.

Holiday Schedule: All routes are closed on the following major holidays - New Years Day Memorial Day Easter Sunday 4th of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Day The week of Christmas thru the first Monday after New Years Day.
