Communications & Marketing Supervisor
Born in Detroit, my family originally from Kentucky, we relocated to Madison Heights in the 1970’s. I graduated from Madison High School in 1989. I have 3 children; 2 twin girls and a son who are the smile on my face.
After a career change, I found myself at a The Salvation Army job fair in the Rochester Hills Family Store in 2005. I was hired on as a MIT for the Southfield Family Store. Over the next year I moved around as an Assistant Manager in multiple locations and was promoted to Store Manager of our Center Line Family Store in 2006, I was asked to head the Communications Department in 2007.
Communications, among other things, schedules donation pickups from donors in the Metropolitan Detroit area. We have revamped the donation pickup process and retooled other aspects of the department to be more efficient to handle our growing service area.
With a previous background in IT and Marketing, it wasn’t long before my roll expanded to include SEMI ARC cellular communications, web design, and marketing. I also serve as the SEMI ARC photographer/videographer for the stores and social media.
